Orange House
A minimalist contemporary farm house on a expansive rural property in Orange in the NSW highlands. A long slender form is a purist exercise of environmental design utilising thermal mass and passive solar design. Rammed earth walls, Shou Sugi Ban charred timber cladding and polished concrete floors reflect a pallete of raw tactile materiality that encourages year round thermal control and a strong attachment to the site. Project in conjunction with FSA gold coast. Completied in 2021
